Core runtime helpers

Shared constants, status handling, bounded strings, deterministic memory and buffer helpers, conversions, and math helpers for portable embedded C modules.

What is included.

Core provides the common EFL base layer. Strings keeps fixed-buffer string behavior predictable. Utilities collects small reusable helpers. Memory covers caller-owned pools, scratch arenas, and bounded byte buffers for no-hidden-heap designs.

Use the module pages below when you need to know what is actually in each repo folder, what it does for a product team, and which functions are exposed.

API naming standard.

Public EFL functions should converge on EFL_ModuleAction. Public types should use EflModuleThing_t. Lowercase or legacy public names are kept visible for compatibility, but they should be wrapped or renamed as modules are hardened.

Ring Buffer is shown with Memory because customers look for it as bounded storage. Its source still lives under Utilities today, which should be cleaned up in the firmware repo when the API names are standardized.
